I am always looking for the best way to tell a story.  I specialise in portraiture, documentary photography, and filmmaking; using whatever medium is necessary to bring to life possibility. My work is led by curiosity, my affinity for the natural world and love of people. I use this versatility and sensitivity to help people and brands tell their stories.

I am drawn to themes that help us heal. My lifelong love of biology inspires much of my work. I use my camera to explore the connection between ecological balance and human health.

The eldest of 5 children, I picked up the camera to document my family and our adventurous travels. These passions grew when I had my children and we hit the road to travel America in a converted school bus. My definition of ‘family’ continues to expand to include my community.

I started my career in London at the advertising agency BBH, before quitting to get behind the camera.  From there, I assisted various commercial photographers and obtained a master’s in documentary photography and photojournalism from UAL. I also owned a photography agency for 10 years, which I sold when I moved to Los Angeles in 2017.  As a result, I’ve worked on a wide variety of shoots, supporting clients from the first concept through to the final finished project.

I am based in Malibu, California, with access to various stunning landscapes and backdrops for commercial shoots or private portraits.
